Textiles-Textile Bleaching

Hydrogen peroxide and caustic soda are commonly used for the bleaching of a range of textile materials in order to improve fabric whiteness.

Persalts, which provide a source of hydrogen peroxide and alkalinity, can be used when a solid bleaching agent is preferred. They can also be used as a simple additive to improve some scouring processes.
