The persalts sodium perborate tetrahydrate, sodium perborate monohydrate and sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate (also called sodium percarbonate) are granular products which dissolve readily in water to generate an alkaline solution containing hydrogen peroxide and an inorganic salt.
